Careers at iPredictSport

We're hiring. Small team, real data, every number graded in public.

The mission

Be the best in the world at predicting sports, and prove it the only way that can't be argued with: against the market price, with the sample size and the uncertainty stated.

How we work

Receipts over hype. Negative results get published, broken things get fixed rather than reported, and anything that moves a decision has to clear a real test first.

The crew

A community of traders, analysts and bot builders, not an audience. Everyone we hire helps build it. Meet the crew.

You'll own the machinery that turns raw sports and market data into the numbers on this site: the collectors, the models' plumbing, the boards, the feeds and API, and the trading-agent tooling. We have a lot of data and a high bar for honest evaluation. You'll ship to production in your first week.

What you'll do

  • Own the data pipelines that pull Kalshi and Polymarket prices, order books, schedules, results and news across tennis, football, golf, basketball, hockey and UFC. Every datum is kept, timestamped and append-only.
  • Make long-running collectors trustworthy: supervised, single-instance, checkpointed, and able to prove they're doing the right thing, not just that they're running.
  • Take new sports from raw prices to a live public board, each with a stated output contract and its record graded against the market.
  • Build the product feed and the keyed, tiered prediction API, plus the MCP server that lets AI agents and trading bots consume our numbers.
  • Work with the modelling side on Elo-family ratings, gradient-boosted ensembles and calibration, and on the walk-forward validation and holdout discipline that keeps our numbers honest.
  • Build the paper-trading agent toward an executable signal: side, maker or taker, price, size and the reason why. It runs on paper until the ledger earns otherwise.
  • Keep the site fast, accurate and automatic: the static-site build, Cloudflare deploys, the Linux server and the checks that fail loudly when a number drifts.

What you bring

  • One or more years of shipping production software. Strong Python and SQL, plus comfort with pandas or polars, parquet and data modelling.
  • Experience running data systems that have to be right: idempotent jobs, retries, rate limits, schema changes and monitoring.
  • Linux servers, systemd, git and CI. Cloudflare, Docker or Windows-side automation are a plus.
  • Working knowledge of ML evaluation: Brier score, calibration, leakage and why you never tune on the holdout.
  • Fluency with AI coding agents. Much of this codebase is written alongside them, and you'll direct and review their work.
  • Bonus: prediction markets, sports betting, market microstructure, or a sports model you've built and graded yourself.

How you'll be measured

  • Collectors that stay up and stay correct, with no silent gaps in the data.
  • New sports and features live on the site, on schedule, with their output contracts written down.
  • The feed and API shipped to paying users.

iPredictSport isn't a tip sheet. It's a crew of sports nerds, traders and bot builders taking on the prediction market in public, with every call graded and the losses posted next to the wins. Your job is to build that crew: turn a site with honest numbers into the place people meet, argue, compete and come back to every day.

What you'll do

  • Build the IPS Crew from the ground up. Launch and grow the Discord: channels per sport, game threads, #receipts, #bots-and-code, events, the crew pick'em league and a leaderboard people want to be on.
  • Recruit and run the crew voices programme: analysts, traders, bot builders and moderators who post with a public, graded record and follow the house rules.
  • Own the brand voice and its strategy across X, the email list, short video and the site. Sharp, funny, honest, and receipts first.
  • Turn our data into shows people share: the weekly "AI vs the market" scoreboard, Friday receipts, and Greta, our AI sports host.
  • Own acquisition: SEO and content, the creator and influencer network, partnerships with prediction markets and sportsbooks, and paid tests with kill rules.
  • Build the funnel from first visit to email to Discord to partner signup, and report it every month from real numbers, never projections.
  • Keep growth clean: affiliate disclosures, responsible-gaming messaging, and nobody pumping thin markets or trading against the crowd.

What you bring

  • Five or more years in marketing, including building and moderating an online community that grew because people liked being there.
  • A track record in sports, betting, fantasy, fintech, trading or gaming audiences, especially men 18 to 45 who came in from search and social.
  • Comfort with numbers: you can read a Brier score, explain why a 60% call that loses isn't a scandal, and run a test with a stated sample size.
  • Hands-on skills. You can write the post, cut the clip, run the giveaway and set up the Discord bot, then hire people to do it better.
  • Working knowledge of affiliate programmes, FTC disclosure and the rules around sports-wagering and prediction-market promotion.

How you'll be measured

  • Crew size and activity: Discord members, weekly actives, crew voices posting graded calls.
  • Sessions, email signups and funded partner signups, month over month.
  • A community that runs itself on game day, with moderators, rituals and a reason to come back.
